Our Project

1. Project description
The main object of the project titled Integrative Media Development is to maintain the mutual flow of intormation and strengthen the cross-border cooperation throgh connecting the local televisions that are operating in the area. The local televisions select programs of regional importance from their own news programs and exchange them among themselves to incorporate them into their broadcast. The subtitled programs will eliminate the language barrier so that the entire system of cooperation.

During the implementation of the project „Integrative Media Development” 12 newsprograms of 20-25 length will be exchanged between the cooperating partners. This is a monthly program, containing 5 news items of each side. The edited programs will be put together from parts of the monthly news programs. They cover information of local interest as well as values of the region, and the final programs with subtitling will be broadcast in the transmission area of the two partner televisions. We are convinced about the fact that the existing natural beauty or the incoming capital and technical development are all necessary but not enough without effective and value-centered flow of information. The local news are taken from various fields of local life such as culture, politics, economy, sport, public life and tourism. The target groups in the region are the population living in the scope of the transmission area of the two televisions. This is the very core idea of the Visegrád Four. To make this cooperation even more close, the project incorporates the element of mutual conferences and a film premier festival of the most outstanding films, because the meeting personally is as important as being informed through the screen. Within the project we will reshow the mutual programs several times, and the evaluation of the project, as well as its impact on generating mutual contacts is also a crucial part of the entire project. The implementation of the project can be followed on a tri-lingual webpage as well (English, Hungarian and Slovakian), containing all the produced and broadcast programs making them available all over the world for those interested in the project itself or in the programs.

2. “Visegrad feature” of my project
The project „Integrative Media Development” has significant impact in the area of information flow thus it contributes to the enforcement of the Visegrád Four objectives. The regional cooperation helped with real information about the political and public life will create positive thinking. The mutual trust between the two adjacent areas will get stronger so that the professional and human contacts will further develop. The events and conferences will provide an outstanding opportunity for representatives of various political and social groups to meet and gain up-to-date and trustworthy information about the values and the possibilities of tourist development in the neighbouring areas.

3. Target groups and groups benefiting from the project
The target group of the project „Integrative Media Development” consists of the representatives of the involved institutions and the entire population living in the transmission area of the two cooperating televisions. We consider the broader group following our project on the internet as important as the directly reachable population. They have a free access to all the programs created during the program exchange. All the representatives and leaders of public, social and political life will be invited as well as those interested from the broader circle of the population. The documented programs recorded on DVD will also be disseminated around the tourist information agencies so that the broadest possible circle of the region gets available.
